Taking its influences from China & Thailand, this is a classic combination of the saltiness & delicate aromas of China combined with the sweet & sour flavours of Thailand. The sharpness of the lemongrass and heat of the chilli is softened with the addition of a touch of caramel.

If you prefer a real chilli kick just add a little of the Nuoc Cham dipping sauce to excite those taste buds. Take the dish to another dimension with coconut sambal, subtle in heat and great just lightly sprinkled over your next mouthful. Add some French bread & you could be sitting at a Ho Chi Minh City market restaurant.

So easy to prepare . . . so invite some friends!

What's in the box

Vietnamese - fantastic!
  • Lemongrass & Chilli Paste
  • Nuoc Cham Dip
  • Coconut Sambal
  • Caramel Dipping Sauce
  • Fragrant Jasmine Rice
  • Stock Ganules

Preparation . . .

Stir fry the paste in some oil for a few minutes. Add your meat and cook. Next add the stock and leave to simmer. Prepare the rice and serve with the sambal and dips.
